Wind Turbine Erection & Installation Support
Working in close partnership with the turbine manufacturers, wind farm developers and asset owners, we assist with the component parts of the new turbine, erecting it safely and efficiently to exacting standards. Working round the clock, our on-site teams work together to support and complete the project to the highest quality including the complete installation of the mechanics, power generating equipment, lifts and fall arrest systems. With testing and certification completing the erection and installation process, the wind turbine is then ready to start its life cycle generating green, sustainable energy.
Wind Turbine Overhaul & Maintenance (O&M)
Wind turbines are designed to last at least 25 years and with high costs per MW to build, the need for innovative overhaul and maintenance engineering solutions are paramount to their life cycle cost efficiencies.
RTS provides a complete O&M package for the high performance preservation of the wind turbine, designed to increase its lifetime and ensure the maximum return on investment of your asset. Our site teams carry out planned service visits to complete essential maintenance works including repair and replacement of all major components. In addition we have rapid response teams troubleshooting issues, finding and repairing faults, wherever possible, in-situ to minimise turbine downtime and costs.

Rotor Blade Repair
Operating in high turbulence environments, wind turbine rotor blades can inevitably suffer damage from time to time as they are subjected to the weather at its most extreme; storm-force gales, heavy rain, hailstones, frost and even lightening strikes. RTS offers a range of services for the remote inspection and in-situ repair of wind turbine rotor blades.
Meteorological Masts
Our quality met mast installation services are based on 20 years experience building all types of towers, masts or monopoles from 5m to 300m, free-standing, NGI (non-ground intrusive) or Guyed.
Working with our sister company Radtech, we offer the full service of planning, supplying and installing both the mast itself and all the data collection instrumentation required for each individual wind farm.
With the data collected by the instrumentation paramount to supporting the maximum operational efficiency of any wind farm, RTS has engineered a solution that guarantees the wind direction data to within 0.1 degrees accuracy.
